Marc Bromley has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry ranging from his roles in finance and development in the private sector to his role as CEO of a large public real estate company.
Mr. Bromley served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Gables Residential Trust (NYSE: GBP) from its IPO to his retirement in 2001. He continued to serve on the $3 billion company's board until its sale late in 2005.
Prior to taking Gables public in 1993, Mr. Bromley was a division partner for the Southeast operation of Trammel Crow Residential. His division developed in excess of $500 million of apartment properties from 1982 through 1993. Mr. Bromley's real estate experience also includes financial roles at The Sea Pines Company (Amelia Island, Florida).
Mr Bromley serves as a Director of two entities of the $15 billion combined COLE REIT portfolio. Cole is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition he serves on the Advisory board of Private Bank of Buckhead, a community bank based in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the past Mr. Bromley has served on the Advisory Board for The Shoptaw Group, and The Advisory Board for the School of Commerce, Economics and Politics at Washington and Lee University. He also is a past President of the Atlanta Apartment Association.
